The Dark Knight Rises
I think it's biggest movie in 2012 on box office. Because mostly people like this movie. I also watched this movie
in mall with friends. Really very well experience for me to watch this. Very well done work to direct this movie by "Christopher Nolan".
Seriously awesome acting in bat man character by Christian Bale.
Amazing !!!

I was disappointed. Very disappointed. It's not a bad movie, but it has severe structure and pacing problems. The dialog is mostly (particularly in the first half) exposition dumping, mainly because so much has changed in the past 8 (!) years since the last film and the film does a poor job of showing you WHY they've changed. Entire characters seem like they've been completely rewritten (hello, Alfred). Motivations for actions are unclear. We're TOLD that Batman did a lousy job in his first re-appearance as Batman...at which point I asked myself how was I supposed to know that for myself, because it looked like he was doing just fine to me.
Bane is interesting, until a reveal in the last 10 minutes spoils it all and effectively takes away our main antagonist. Catwoman is fun (though I gagged at the completely out-of-character-but-still-obvious-as-hell-"twist" when it inevitably happened at the end of the movie). The detective whose name I forget (for obvious reasons to anyone who's watched the movie) was excellent, mostly because he was our actual protagonist for probably 3/4 of the movie.
Overall, this film as it was released did not need to be this long. If they HAD to make this a sprawling 3 hour epic, they needed to tighten it up thematically, reduce the boring info-dump dialog and replace it with SHOWING us more, and for God's sakes have Bruce learn a better lesson because the entire goddamn plot relied on him relearning how to be Batman TWICE because he didn't "do it right" the first time (not that that's evident by his actions...), and the entire thing falls flat because the "right" way is so ridiculous.
I think I put it more concisely in "meh" but you're on my wavelength Skyy High.
And I am such a big fan of its two predecessors.
Ah well, comic book trilogy syndrome strikes again!

Personally I think the first movie did a much better job at the whole "becoming Batman" story arch. It seemed as if they were struggling a bit to come up with a good excuse to have Batman still in the movie. Because there's not much more to tell after those other two movies. We've seen Batman learn what it takes to stand up against criminals, and we've seen him deal with a villain that is not intimidated by his theatrics, and what it means to be a symbol. The third movie tries desperately to find something for Bruce Wayne to do. The climbing out of the pit thing becomes more and more silly the more I think about it. And all of this doesn't dimminish the fact that this is a great movie. But Batman's story arch really is rather weak in this movie when compared to the other two movies.
