This really doesn't say a lot... considering all the crap out there.
But they are decent, a bit overrated imo (TDK 10th in the IMDB top 250 is a big pile of bs) but certainly better than the old batman movies.

They are good, but being the best...that's debatable IMO
I love many of the Marvel movies (then again, I prefer Marvel over DC), and I think that some of them are better than these.
I just wish they would quit screwing with Bale's voice. He sounds like he's trying to make his throat burst when he's dressed like Batman.
