Why? That movie was my favorite of the 4 old ones. And if they added those two to this series, they'd be darker, so it wouldn't be the same.
Why not? We've seen plenty of male villains, and there were plenty of female villains in the Batman comics, cartoon, and old series. I'd like to see what they'd do to a female villain in this darker series.
Right, I'll pick up The Dark Knight on blu-ray once I get the chance.
No need to see Batman Begins, right? It's not like I've never seen a batman movie before. Saw all the old ones and read a few graphic novels.

I wouldn't mind if they just stayed away from the big name villains and went with someone a bit more obscure, like Firefly (a pyromaniac arsonist), or Mr. Zsasz (serial killer). Doing something big with Scarecrow would be good too. (like the "Absolute Terror" story arc, when he stops using his fear gas, instead using his training as a psychologist to terrify the entire city. He pretty much succeeded too.)
Saetre, you can have a couple days off for your spoilered and quite unnecessary insult.

They've had Mr. Zsasz in already. He has a brief moment in front of the camera after everyone escapes from Arkham in Batman Begins. Trademark scars are a bit of a giveaway.
I'd quite like to see Hush in the story or Azrael. Something that plays Bruce and Batman at the same time.
And with the end of Dark Knight being the way it is public support of him is already low - so it could work.
