GW2 and SW:TOR at the forefront of MMORPG?

Of course it looks bad, it's WoW. It looks like a bad cartoon version of Factions. And yeah if it wasn't half a year off, you'd think it was an April's Fools.

But hey. They have pandas in their game! And if you can play as a panda, there will definitely be pandas dying. Weren't panda pets removed from Factions because showing dead pandas would be offensive to Chinese people or something?

Panda race is silly. Fact that they're called Pandaren is sillier.

It is, quite honestly, as silly as Vah Shir Beastlord from EQ.

It is official, GW2 will be TotalBiscuit's game of choice:

Also, apparently he is in the GW2 beta starting before the New year. :)

I can't say I'm surprised about his reaction. I mean, they take a joke character from way back and make an expansion about it. Surely, there's better things they could have spent their time on.

Anet are the real deal. They know who to pick to advertise their game. This should prove interesting in the following months.

I think TB was referring to just playing the beta, not the closed beta.

The only beta before the end of the year is the closed one, so I am pretty sure that is the one he is referring to. :)
