    I don't think "received" is the right term here. Ascending unlocks the gift rather than giving it. All of those who are Chosen have the gift, but the power is dormant. Only those who Ascend can actually use it. On the boat from Sanctum Cay the Vizier tells us we are Chosen, but we must Ascend to awaken the power that is already within us.

    Also, in the "Divinity Coast vs Divinity's Reach" comment - Divinity's Reach is built on Divinity Coast, hence the name - specifically, according to the timeline in GoA, it is built "in the province of Sheamoor"

    I made a mistake, I was thinking about Diviner's Ascent, not Divinity's Reach.

    Then I'm sorry, but where's the connection in that? A diviner is akin to a seer or fortune teller. Divinity is akin to divine or godliness.
