Yeah, I have about two-three weeks of movies to mention, but I can't remember half of them now.

Neighbor - Dumb gore flick. Lying box cover! Very boring. Poor quality all around. The story didn't even seem to make sense, but I imagine no one cared.

Middle Men - I liked this one. Funny with a good story too. One of those half comedy / half drama things. Boobs were right there in the opening, so that always helps, but it really doesn't have that much to do with Internet Porn. Mostly about the shady business dealings behind it, and how internet credit card transactions came about.

Megamind - One of those CGI Dreamworks movies. I normally don't go for them, but the previews made this one seem funny. It mostly was, but its still more of a kids movie. Just a kids movie with a AC/DC music in it. Tina Fey's voice was a little distracting, mostly cause I kept expecting her to shout for ham at some point.

Descent 2 - Terrible. Boring. Silly. Annoying. I wasn't crazy about the original, but this was far worse. Instead of a bunch of annoying women going into a cave, it is a bunch of annoying old men, cops, survivors, etc. I'd rather watch the The Cave again. Actually, I liked that one more than the first Descent anyway. So bring on The Cave 2: Cave Harder Hollywood.

Splice - Screw this movie. They kill a cat at one point. Other than that, this was written by people who have a very creative view of how biology works, ( i.e. Magic + blender.) To sum it up. . .

Man and woman create a blob, blob turns into a kangaroo lizard-baby, it then grows into a woman. Since it now has boobs, the man has sex with it. The Womagaroo then goes African Frog on them, and flipflops into a man. It then kills everyone and rapes the woman. Man & Woman then kill the Womanagroo, but the man dies because . . . I don't know, he been outside without a jacket or something.

Woman is then pregnant with Womagroo's baby, which she then decides to sell to the pharmaceutical company they both worked for. Oh, and she used one of her own eggs to create the Womagroo, so technically she's pregnant with her mutant grandchild.

You are right about Descent 2. The first was okay. Well, kind of. But yes, the second really stank.

Didn't watch TV in a while, only a few movies I saw before.
But yesterday I finnished Star Trek TNG season 5, watching season 6 now.

I'm watching 24. Season 3. A bit behind too, which isn't helped by voluntarily not having cable at my place and not downloading any pirates stuff.

I am eagerly awaiting the DVD release of Black Death. The preview looks good. There was a chance to watch the pre theater on Amazon for $10, but I passed.

I should have been finishing off the Dollars trilogy a couple of weekends ago. Still not gotten around to it yet.

Tonight we watched Four Lions, about some goof balls that try to make a terrorist plan in London. It was very funny.

Another one we watched was 911: In Plane Site. A very fascinating documentary about 911. Also, it showed local news casts in Oklahoma City on the day of the Federal building being bombed. In those newscasts, they talked about 2 more bombs that were more powerful than the one that did explode. They were in each end. In other words, the entire building was to have been blown away. The national news kept that out of their stories. Even the police and fire department were interviewed right as they responded. Sure made me wonder about stuff. And as for the 757 that crashed into the Pentagon, video coverage right at the scene and there were no pieces of a plane. You can also see the roof intact which came down later. This big 757 somehow only made a 16' hole. And finally, flight 93 crashed around 10 AM but made an emergency landing in Ohio almost an hour later because of a reported bomb on board. The police and even United verified it was flight 93. Hmm, something seems odd. And eye witnesses who saw the planes crash into the WTC said that the planes had no windows.

We watched Four lions with Tye. And i need subtitle to watch that movie....

I watched The Virgin Suicides last night on Netflix. Kind of dark, left me with lots of questions after. The trailer is dumb -- I watched it after I watched the movie and was like "Er, that's not at all how it went."

They worked too hard to show off the big names as the movie's main attraction when they didn't need to, because it was a good movie in its own right. I rolled my eyes when they put Danny DeVito up there. He had *maybe* 60 seconds of screen time at the beginning, and that was it.

Anyway, five sisters raised by their super-strict, very confining Catholic parents. They're aged 13-18, not allowed to go anywhere besides school, dating is obviously out of the question. The youngest winds up killing herself, and things go on from there. Eventually the remaining four are permitted to attend their school's homecoming dance on the condition that they and their dates go together in one big group. The youngest slips away with her honey and stays out all night. Mom completely loses it when she arrives home the next morning, and yanks all four girls out of school. They're no longer permitted to set foot outside. The movie ends when all four of them ... well, look at the movie title.

I'll be watching this again at least once, to pick up some more of the undertones.
