Lol! I love long songs. I got annoyed at Spotify the other day because the free version removes songs longer than 15 minutes.
I have a bunch of old Dream Theater on my hard drive, procured through questionable means by my ex-wife. I've listened to them a little bit, but never really caught onto them too much. I'm not sure why that is honestly, just don't think I gave them a good enough listen. They have a style of music that I normally enjoy. It might just be that I connect them with memories of my ex-wife :P Now I think I will have to load them up on my iPod and listen to them more.
Also, here's some completely random stuff:

Not sure why, But I'm really into this song right now, I'm hoping it starts making it into the regular airplay for the radio around here soon.

Happy little story to go with this one. Way back in 2003, I went to a Buffy the Vampire Slayer fan meetup in St. Louis for the weekend, because I'm a ginormous nerd. Six of us who were forum friends holed up in our hostesses apartment for a long weekend in a big pile on her sofa, ordering in Chinese and watching Buffy DVDs. We all brought gifts for one another, and one of the girls made a 2-CD mix set of music from the TV show. Yesterday I heard one of those songs on the car radio and got to wondering what had ever happened to those CDs. I loved them. This morning, Kev is cleaning out a drawer full of old software and computer bits per my request, and lo and behold. My CDs!
Love this song in particular:
Bah! I still have Bohemian Rhapsody stuck in my head from Boz's post on Facebook last night.
If you can't have fun, what's the point?

This popped up on my iPod this morning, I always forget how much I love this track. Couldn't find a good live version on YouTube, sound quality on all of them was pretty iffy.

A couple of groups I've heard recently and became fond of their music - H.U.V.A. Network and Solar Field.

After finally getting around to subscribing to the A State of Trance podcast, one of the songs played was a remake of this classic:
Shame the only version I have of it is on a mixed Euphoria compilation. It's hard to put together playlists that don't seem wrong when most or all of the tracks are starting and ending abruptly.
