SpoilerTotally! His wife is annoying the crap out of me and that blonde chick (who I liked in the first season) needs to shut her mouth.
About the guns:
I guess they're afraid she's going to shoot herself. As for the rest of the crew, given that a horde had just passed them by and they (were) sitting in the middle of the road, they didn't want to use guns unless absolutely necessary. So they didn't want to give out guns to anyone who might pop off a shot out of fear. Don't understand why crab-lady got one, though.
I just realized that Glenn (the Asian kid - who the hunter guy calls Short Round lol) has almost no personality. Outside of saving rick and occasionally driving a car or fixing something, he barely even exists. He's probably gonna die, huh?

Just watched episode 3...
Did I not just say that Glenn was undeveloped? Looks like he'll be getting some treatment in the next episode (ew with that big fat well zombie). My money is on him falling for that girl and staying at the house. It looks like the old guy isn't going to want the whole group to stay (Rick probably asks), but I bet Glenn stays.
I know I keep saying this, but I'm so impressed with the hunter guy. Bit worried they'll find Merl soon, especially since hunter guy and Andrea seem to have a budding romance.
Still no points for crab-lady.
Shane, huh? Wow. If he was going to leave Otis as bait, why shoot him in the leg? I guess maybe he thought the dude would shuffle a little, giving him some more distance. Or maybe he didn't want to outright kill the guy himself. But that was nuts.
At first, in the gym, I thought "Why don't they just kill the zombies?" because it didn't look like too many were there, but I guess they were trying to conserve ammo in case they needed it (which they did).
I know it's based off a graphic novel, but I'm curious as to how it'll wrap up (don't want to spoil it via the novel).

SpoilerNot liking Shane at the moment; I wonder if that scratch on his head is enough to turn him....hehehe; thats one way to part from the group.

The scratch on his head was from where Otis ripped his hair out, not from a zombie.
Still, it's looking like he's becoming Dark Rick and will probably die at some point.

SpoilerThat would be fine with me; I'm getting tired of him always looking like a confused adolescent every time he looks at Rick's wife with his QQ sobbing eyes. The two of them ought to just turn bad, hook up and run away together.
Rick's character is getting kind of weak and ineffective too, but for now I can pardon it since he's basically reeling on his feet from giving all his blood to his boy.
I did like the scene where they came across the poor deluded zombie, who thought hanging himself after he was bitten was a good idea. Cleverly done.

Watched episode 2...
SpoilerI'm not annoyed by the wife or the blonde. The wife has actually seemed rather level-headed, considering everyone else in the group has been questioning Rick & whats-his-face. The blonde (I really need to work on remembering names...) has now had a near-death scare, so I think she may gain a desire to survive from that.
They skipped over some parts, but I think that added to the urgency of Carl's situation. I didn't mind. The black guy was getting pretty weird, but then the redneck gave him pills. Hopefully he'll be okay. I still like the old guy, since he's simultaneously Mr. Crazy Eyes and the group's voice of reason.
The new survivors are interesting, though we've really only seen 4 of them: Old Dr., Otis the fat hunter/emt, horse chick and Otis' wife. The doctor's response to Lori's "Admit it - you're in over your head" line was great.
The ending was awful and great at the same time. I really had a Left4Dead vibe from it, zombies at every turn, trying to desperately get away from a horde. (although I laughed out loud when he punched the one zombie)
Yeah - Glenn (the korean guy) needs more screen time to show personality again. He hasn't had much since the first two episodes of last season.

I love Rick. Such a good dad, strong leader, positive.
One thing that really stood out to me in this week's episode is how well-done this show is. I don't know if it's certain actors or the direction or what. But the makeup on Rick got paler and paler as he gave more and more blood. And there was one scene where his wife walked away and he stood up to follow her and you could see him stumble a bit. You couldn't even see his whole body; he was in the background, but he still acted like someone who had just given half his blood away.
It was a little silly that he was so drained before they did the full-on operation, though. Did the kid not need any blood while they were cutting him open? lol
I like Shane. I think he's such a good friend to Rick. Tried to save him when the apocalypse first happened, barricaded his room to keep him safe (in case he was still alive), went immediately to take care of his wife and kid. And even now he still is looking out for all three of them. He just seems to be losing grip a bit...
One thing that just jumped out at me... If zombies rip people to pieces like they did to Otis, how come so many zombies are full-on people?
I can't wait to see fat well zombie.
