The main benefit for us to keep things here on GWO is to spread the word about XM, something that can also easily be accomplished in a number of other ways (in fact the most interest has been shown via direct in game contact, and noone has actually joined the XM team from seing this thread and becoming interested.

You know, that is technically not true... hehe. I became really interested in what you guys were doing through the forums when you beat The Deep and posted the picture. I was all "Omg omg omg want!" I just thought I wasn't good enough for it.

Ultimately, I joined when you guys needed a mesmer for something... and even then I was a bit apprehensive about not being good enough for something like this. But it just goes on to show that anyone can really do it if they're interested. =]

I'm entering a period with relatively tons of free time:-), which I really need...so I'll be up for some week-time XM'ing as well (like slaughtering Jades:p)

UW is a real challenge, but we're getting a hang of it, we got the labyrinth down, and it takes around 15 minutes to clear, we also know how to do forgotten vale but wiped due to an unfortunate aggro split. i'm a lot more curious of how we are going to manage icy wastes and chaos planes but at least we prepared for that.

After Raye had to go, Z, Moon and I did a quick 3man vanquish of Xaquang Skyway just for fun, without being serious or anything we did it in 1our 15 minutes, but if we put our minds to it im sure we could cut half an hour off that, maybe we should make XMvq a thing? i dunno.

XM Vanquish could be fun to do on the side, as it's generally less time-consuming and more forgiving than elite areas (where a partywhipe= Game Over).

During the coming few days I'll try to prep my Necro for Urgoz at least.

Just on your XMvanq musings, I've played around with that myself, and it may get more people interested (if thats one of the goals) since it's less intimidating.
