Question about guild announcements

I'm an officer in my guild but I'm thinking of leaving due to inactivity of other members. If I leave a message on the announcement page saying goodbye, will it still be up if I leave the guild or will the announcement get deleted automatically when I leave?

It'll stay there indefinitely until someone decides to change it, even after the author has stepped down from their position or left the guild altogether.
