What type of insignia do you use?

Is there other insignias rangers nowadays that they prefer to use than Survivor?

I never liked survivor on my ranger. As I run 99.999% of the time a beastmaster, I've beastmaster on my primary armour. Radiant on my secundary (in that .001% I run either BHA or even more rare Barrage). I also sometimes use my radiant armour if I run, but usually I'm just lazy and keep my beastmaster (as I run with my pet).

Blessed would also be an option if running Conjure or Orders.

Insignias that add armours are a better investment than Survivor. Those 30 HP are gone fast, but +armour insignias keep reducing damage on every hit.

That's my thought as well. And that's why I like beastmasters :D

I mainly go with Radiant since that's what I used back in the day... don't exactly need it but it helps every once in a while.

I largely use radiant on my ranger, simply because the ranger's inherent defense, the stupidity of hero AI, and the fact that I usually travel with an MM means that I'm an extremely low-priority target. I should note that I generally do NOT PvP, so my choices may be nonviable in that area. I also use Beastmaster's when using a pet, and Stalwart when trying (and failing) to get survivor.
I could be wrong, but I honestly don't think rangers really particularly need survivor insigs. You're already a pretty low priority target, so unless you're doing melee, using low health, or otherwise doing something that would change your priority, the extra HP doesn't seem to me to help too much.

Scouts or survivors I guess. Currently just have survivors on my main set due to it being what I usually use for pvp as well. Can't be assed changing since I'm not going to need anything different if I don't play terribly.

I have a survivor set and a scout set. I don't really notice a huge difference between the two - you should not be getting hit anyway, if you're a ranger.
