    still, taking parts of other games is cool as long as they're implemented in a good way.

    I kept thinking "dodge, you noob!" when she was fighting oakhearts, so they're doing the active combat right xD Though it makes me wonder how people are gonna hit eachother in PvP outside of CC's.

    The voice acting hasn't improved I see, but luckily there's always the skip button.

    Definitely, I also don't consider borrowing certain combat mechanics from Age of Conan a bad thing at all. That was the one thing that kept me playing that game for so long.

    It's official... Thief is the new dirt nap character ;)

    Honestly, I'm a bit disappointed. I was looking forward to something special (which I got) but not really this...

    Initiative energy sounds nice, we'll see how that works. Sounds like it regens fast, so ...

    Stealth looks good for PvP, looks like you can spot the foe if you pay attention.

    Shadowstep is back, but that's ok because other professions can't use it.

    Stealing your opponent's feathers made me lol, I wonder how much work is needed for that single skill, and how useful it'll be.

    Stealth, shadowstep, and stealing weapons... are those abilities you always have?

    Low armor, stealth, shadowstep!!!! Dirtnap if you tank...

    Boo for stealth.

    Yay for focusing on positional combat.

    I'm undecided on this profession. I hope the stealth they have looks just like they show it in the trailers to other players, as in a chameleon-type of stealth. That way a player could still see them aproaching if he concentrates instead of requiring a specific skill to break stealth or waiting for the inevetible first strike from the thief before initating combat.

    1) steal weapon is outside the 10bar.
    2) shadowstep and stealth are optional skills.

    I noticed the self heal seems to incorperate a dodge.
    Initiative looks to regenerate at aproximately 1 strike per second.

    Thief is definitely a rework of assassin. Shadowstep, dual wield daggers, squishy emphasis on movement to stay alive...

    I do worry that they'll actually be the dirtnap profession - gets reworked to uber but broken - gets nerfed to meh, with all the QQ at every step. Sin/rogue/thief professions tend to be that way.

    It would be nice if there was a way to fight like warriors, up front and personal, given the right traits / equipment. Sword + shield maybe, with traits in parry instead of shadowstep & stealth?

    Totally looking forward to seeing mesmer & the new one.
