Thief: Reveal vs. Expectation & Comments

Sins *used* to die in the frontline at release, and they've been stuck with that bad rep since. I have not had a sin die in the frontline (no more than other frontliners anyway) except hench sins.

The problem though was that they were not played as intended. Cue thief getting repeatedly backhanded by tree monster.

Can thieves use Scorpion wire to pull a target across Guardian walls ?

In one of the Vids from PAX the person talking says that Guardians can use a wall skill to block a bridge.

Actually, wards only affect the movement of enemies, not allies. And since it doesn't stop spells, you should be able to pull someone through it with scorpion wire.

It'd be funny if you put a ward up, your friend pulls a foe with scorpion wire through the ward, and the foe actually /faceward and takes damage from the impact.

BTW, since i'm surely going to roll a thief, and my friend is surely going to roll a guardian, I wish that the above would be implemented. Like it could stun the enemy for a sec or so when I scorpionwire them into my friend's blueguardianwall. SMACK!!

Yeah, combo's like that would be lolworthy even if the actual effect (added damage or conditions) is not worth the effort. You'd totally see people doing that in PvP just for lulz, and posting that on youtube. Oh the viral potential...
