Ooooo begins today!

Super excited about high res textures.

Kinda scared about mutual friend list (awesome, but who have me friended, and who does not?)

Looking forward to Hard Mode quests.

Dont know what to make of "Flux" yet, since I have no idea what it is..

I think "Mutual" friend means you have to be on their list and they have to be on yours. Makes sense that way, no random strangers will be looking you up.

Hard mode quests sound like fun, and the tonics have me curious (I won't get one for another year though ). The high textures are something we should have had a long time ago.

As for Flux, if that's the only after effect of the Lunatic Court quests, I'm going to be very disappointed.

Ye, I know. I am just a little anxious about that first login when you find out who exactly on your friend list have added you back. Could be awkward?

This event will begin on April 28, 2011,[1] after the anniversary game update is released.[2] The Anniversary Celebration includes a new series of miniatures, the Shing Jea Boardwalk being opened and decorations in Lions Arch, Kamadan, Shing Jea Monastery and Kaineng Center. The Dragon Arena and Rollerbeetle Racing will also be reopened.

No mention of any of the above. So, either it's not been added in yet, or we need to organize a lynch mob.

The friends list is too small so that avoids any awkwardness IMO. If someone starts kicking off because you haven't added them back it's just a case of "Hey, sorry, but my F-list is full" Whether or not that's the truth, that's for you to decide :>

guess I will be turning the res on my poor laptop down again --it can barely handle rata sum--if all the armors now will be high res I can see gw being totally unplayable on it
and finally we know how long the festivities will be on for--may 6. and new quests sound like fun! (though hm only --may not get completed by me, but perhaps some new exciting drops????)
