That'd be great for 1g; the normal first book drops from the guy in Act IV though can cannot be bought from NPC; the Nightmare, Hell, and Inferno books from the NPC are only ones to upgrade the normal staff.

Aha, got it! 28th time was the charm...who knew? /slinks off to slay innocence

I think Izual is bugged. His charge/jump/whatever attack (the one that moves him to you) has no cast time, no animation, no attack delay( and kills me in 1 hit). It also doesn't appear to care about my dodge percentage. Instagib on monster.. yea, ok.

Beat normal last night. I have to say, that was one really long credit scroll they had; I went and did something else for 15 minutes or so, and it was still scrolling.
Not that it's bad to give credit to everyone, but I still think it was scrolling rather slow for the length.
that's the problem with single player games, they end and that's about it......it has ended.
never get satisfaction with beating a game, kinda the reason why MMO's are getting more and more superior together with simulation RPG's (like fable and oblivion)
Yeah, playing on Nightmare is a totally different experience btw.

Wow.
My trial monk is level 7 or 8, and I'm on the quest to kill the Skeleton King. I'm wondering, though -- If I have a weapon equipped, but my attacks use my hands instead, am I still getting the +dmg effect of the equipped weapon?
I don't get this :(
As far as I can tell monks never use their weapons, but we get the bonuses (and damage) of them.My trial monk is level 7 or 8, and I'm on the quest to kill the Skeleton King. I'm wondering, though -- If I have a weapon equipped, but my attacks use my hands instead, am I still getting the +dmg effect of the equipped weapon?
Yeah that kinda bugged me at first, but at least the skills seem to have fun animations. Made myself a HC demon hunter...I don't love the skills yet, but she's only @14 and I didn't like the monk skills at first either. Some very tense moments even in Act I have got me altering my play style a bit.

Most skills pretty much ignore the weapon you have and instead do a cool animation. Like the barbarian hammer attack while I am using a sword. It's weird sometimes, but overall it means I can equip weapons I like more freely.
