No, you somehow got it completely backwards. They're letting the op item exist, and will be overhauling the legendaries to be equally desirable, like Nats currently is. Nats Mark may or may not have that same affix in the future, but whatever it will have, will hopefully still make people want it.

I re-read the quote, and I don't see that. They said they're re-working the legendaries, but at least in that quote they don't say how or to what effect. I somehow don't think they would make the new Nat's that OP.

Well you must have missed the whoel debacle over how legendaries suck, people want them to be OP, have interesting affixes, and generally just be desireable. Then Bash mentions they're "embracing that concept," which can't really be construed..

I don't follow those forums. Just this one. I try not to over-interpret words like "Embracing the concept". It could be anything including what you said, or just that they want to make sets more unique even if not nearly as OP as Nat's.

It does suggest that they realized there's money to be made in seriously OPed stuff, I just hope they don't go that road.

Also, people can complain about wasd they want to complain about, it doesn't mean the devs will do something about it.

Surpassed my previous HC Wizard of lvl 38; now at 46. I was lvl 43 and buffed out armor/defense/dps when I took on Belial; didn't really want a challenge to gamble on. It was pretty smooth going -- never reached below 75% health then like 30s until he died he throws those green choas messes ALL over the place and brings my health down to 25% -- WTF; I quickly dash up and grab some health globes amidst the green swirling mists of death and finish him off -- he is an evil boss.

edit: PS, servers are down again :D
