Diablo 3: We need a thread

Thar it is. Speaking of demons, I hope all seven greater evils are in this one! They've got to be, they've just got to be!


There are the three Prime evils:

Mephisto, the Lord of Hatred
Baal, the Lord of Destruction
Diablo, the Lord of Terror

Then the four lesser of the Great Evils:

Duriel, the Lord of Pain
Andariel, the Maiden of Anguish
Belial, the Lord of Lies
Azmodan, the Lord of Sin

Azmodan is already in D3 (link)
Diablo (obviously) is back as well

I haven't come across anything concerning Belial; hopefully all the others make a comeback--IF this is the last Diablo and there will not be any expansions.

I'm getting all excited going through this lore again... D3 come on!

I waited for those goblins to open their portals a few times, I was able to kill them before they went through but couldn't go through the portal myself :(

Kill streaks? I got 110+ :D Just do the jar of souls event with an OP char ^^ (got highest with lee si- I mean monk)

Anyone else shoot down those monsters carrying a gold bag? I heard from one of the lore books that there is some type of place/king those little guys bring all their loot to.

Yes. It's unlocked when you hit level 10 with any character.

I managed to kill one before it got back into its portal. It drops a lot of loot when killed.

I killed all the goblins I found. If they open the portal, you can smack them to interrupt it.

You missed it. But there may be more coming.

This weekend's beta was open to everyone. You had to have a valid battle.net account and battletag, but those are available for free by registering on their site. Once you did that, you could download the game right away.

I assume that they will have other open betas coming, and I assume that the same simple steps can get you in.

Right now the beta is closed (as in, you only have access with a beta code). They will shut it down on May 1st (release is May 15th). If you're lucky it'll be open to everyone again next weekend - though I haven't heard anything about that.

No, I meant, they usually don't drop anything other than gold. Just.. gold. 10 gold.

The only gold item I got was off the king, seems like you're guaranteed one rare on your first kill.

I got several golds from some of large mobs.

As for treasure imps, I killed over 10 of those, just use a snare and it's pretty easy to smack them down.
