I sent a request this morning. I got a request from someone via FB, which I accepted, so requests are at least kind of working. A friend I added via his E-mail hasn't appeared in my list, though, so I'm not sure. I'll check my profile tonight.
LOL
Yeah. Activision is the worst when it comes to pricing. Any CoD game holds its value longer than it should. Blizzard, being owned by them, is the same way (now, at least). Sure, they're generally quality products, but good luck finding SC2 today for less than $35-40. That's a 2010 game, mind.
The only reason why I got SC2 for $40 at launch was due to a loophole in a K-Mart promotion. (otherwise, LOL @ buying PC games at K-Mart)

20$ for 2 games is fine, LOD expansion counts as a separate game.

My point is, that's now, like 12-13 years after the introduction of D2. I'd be surprised if D3 drops down to less than $40 in the next 4 years, and by then I expect there will be at least one expansion pack.
Anyways, you know all this stuff already. I don't know for sure if I'll ever buy it myself...might play a character on my son's game eventually, might not. I'm leery about liking it so much I might become hooked on it, so perhaps better to avoid it.

Good games remain good long after their release. Blizz are experts at polish. I'm ok with waiting because I'll play single anyway, population is not an issue.
