No because N/Rt is a pve gimmick, yes its great in pve, in pvp, very mediocre.

I think the main reason N/Rt is not so good in PvP as in PvE is because in PvP, you need to be able to protect yourself if you're a healer. As a N/Rt, that's difficult to do. This is one reason the build I proposed doesn't stand up to monk healers (or rit healers for that matter)...

I haven't tried it or really seen it in use. I would say "probably no". It's difficult to pull off a good AoE in RA to begin with, it being conditional on death on top of it...

It could be a decent cover in a hexway build... There's probably better skills for cover though.

Icy veins is terrible. All around. Deals mediocre damage, small aoe(if any? Don't remember), reduced by armor, high energy cost relative to it's effect and prone to interrupts due to casttime.

All of this is secondary to the fact that dealing actual damage isn't your job when running a necromancer in RA.

And even if you wanted to run damage as a necro, there'd be better ways of doing it imo. Icy veins might be good against lower-level PvE mobs.

Well, against a team that doesn't have and/or doesn't use rezzes, you generally don't need the extra energy anyway ;)
