I rather like the new layout (after some tweaking with stylish). There are a few errors:
#inside_wrapper {
border-radius: 0 0 10px 10px !important;
}
#content-head {
width: auto !important;
}
some annoyances:
#content-head > br {
display: none;
}
#inside_wrapper > br {
display: none;
}
.time {
color: #989898 !important;
}
And one to make it a bit more usable (width wise..)
#wrapper {
width: 1200px !important;
}

Ah, no wonder it looks weird... The ads are blocked by the company proxy server... I'll have to go home to see the real version then
Edit:
It's still a waste of space to add a high add on top. In general, monitors are in landscape. So a lot of space is wasted on the side with useless items taking space on top...

Where's the news ticker?
And why is this posted here in GW2 instead of Site Support? I would move it but Rush is, Like A Boss.

I will sort the icons out, weird one that. If you see a huge space at the top where the ad should be well you are blocking our ads (thanks that's very supportive of you!). If you want ad free then become a member, blocking ads really hurts us as a network, we have to pay the hosting bill somehow you know.

As was mentioned by Lady Rhonwyn, not all of us have control over the display of ads when we're accessing the forums from computers we don't personally own. A lot of companies block ads across the board to reduce the amount of unnecessary traffic on their networks. That has nothing to do with supporting or not supporting the site.
If you can't have fun, what's the point?
