When you put it like that... xD
I'll probably go Human Elementalist. Mostly because of the lore (humans being connected to the gods). I thought about a Charr, but I want a Charr soldier, and my Norn will be Warrior (since I'll just be another of the thousands of Charr Warriors otherwise). Therefore: Charr Guardian, Sylvari Ranger, Norn Warrior, Human Elementalist (and maybe an Asura Ranger).

Indeed, human is prevalent everywhere because of what we are. Not that it'll stop a lot of those human males to create human females though. *cough*
Norn & charr tend to be more popular with higher armor less magic, and vice-versa for asura & sylvari. Of course, with my love of outcasts, it'll be the opposite for me.
Current lineup (subject to change with racial skills)
Pretty sure:
Norn Elementalist - because there is no greater power than the elements
Charr Necromancer - beast & minions
Asura Ranger - big beasts, sneaky sniper
Sylvari Guardian - plant in frontline sounds fun
Plus either:
Human Engineer - gf *caugh*
Charr Mesmer - because nobody does clones like the charr
Or:
Human Mesmer - like a rat thief, but with more class and smarts
Sylvari Engineer - again, plant and firethrower, how can that go wrong? Tech and plant sounds fun.

Actually, the only reason I created a female character in GW, was because the male warriors just look a bit off. I prefer a Dervish's bodytype. I'll probably stick to male in GW2.
When you put it like that, plant in frontline does sound fun. xD But can Sylvari wear regular armor or only planty armor?

Sylvari have plant armor, but they can also wear regular armor if they choose to.
As for male vs female... I tend to find males in MMOs look worse, and yes, I also think females tend to look better even in RL.

Guys, please use the existing thread in the Professions Forum for such discussions (http://guildwars.incgamers.com/forum...-will-you-make) or take discussions over to the Races forum. There is no need to repeat things here in this thread, which have been discussed somewhere else already.

Alaris has my support, if his Norn Elementalist looks like this. *g*
