I get the button but pressing it does nothing. I believe there's an option on YouTube to disable fullscreen for a video unless you actually go to the YouTube page for the video. I just assumed it had to do with that.

Hm, if the clip is embedded properly it should be fullscreenable. Example:

This clip at least I can view in full screen. Do you have an example where it does not work?

Silly question I guess, but are you sure you are looking for the right button? I just now had to look for it a bit, because it looks a little different than on native YT. There is only the full screen button, no large or small screen buttons.

Also, do you just not get the full screen button at all, or do you have it, but nothing happens when you push it?

The same button, that works in other places, doesn't work in threads here. It just doesn't embiggen it. The button responds to the first push (without actually doing anything) and then doesn't respond at all.

That's not standard... You may have some kind of malware or adware infection. For starters, as a PAL, you don't get ads on the site. Secondly, GWO does not feature those kind of ads. I just checked in another browser, not logged in, and did not see any of those in-text ads.

I just tried the last 7 videos in the Youtube thread, none of them worked. Here's a link to the latest post there at the time of writing.
I'm using Chrome, but tried it on FF and IE too, didn't work either.

Ahhh. Yes it looks like it is the custom Youtube tags (ie when not using the media embed button) that did not have a fullscreen parameter. Luckily I am both smart and clever, and I had access to the custom BB codes, so I was able to fix it. Enjoy your full screen videos!
