I think Shawn's problem is that the logo brings him to the homepage instead of the forum homepage. I browse differently than he does, it seems (I tend to navigate right to the /forums, then hit New Posts, open everything in separate tabs, done - or I go to the homepage, click "Community Forums" and the rest is the same), but I can see why this would frustrate someone. I can also see why it is designed the way it is (since the site isn't just a forum).

I understand the point, but short of re-designing the entire page, I do not see how it could be different.
There is no other way to get to the main home page from the forum than to click that logo (which does say "The Unofficial Guild Wars 2 Site", so I for one do expect to get to, well, the site when clicking it). On the other hand there is a big "FORUM" button literally 3 mm underneath that one can click to get to the forum homepage from anywhere. So I must admit that I do not see the problem here.![]()

edit: Disregard this, I didn't see the big FORUM button, I thought you meant the link in what looks similar to a file directory path. I'll leave my reply here though, because it was funny:
That's not 3mm, that's like.. 10 centimeters! Do you realize how much extra movement that is with a trackpad?? By the end of the day, my index finger is simply throbbing from all that extra movement!
No, that's how I do it too. ..In fact, didn't I teach you about the New Posts thing? :p
However, I typically go back to the main page, I guess primarily out of habit. I'm used to Team Quitter's site, I suppose. When I'm done replying, hit the top image and it takes you back to a newly-refreshed main page, so you can see which forums have new posts since you were off reading and posting.

Haha, first I was like, 10 centimeters?, then I was like
.
Anyhoo, QQ is only a forum so for them it makes sense to have the logo like that (I mean, where else could it go?). For forums on sites though (GWOnline, guru, mmorpg etc.), not so much.![]()

Just noticed a quite significant bug; the forum feed on the main page does not work, click a link and you only get a "page not found" page..
i found something really annoying, normally i can use the arrow keys to move the write bar but now every time i even touch my arrow keys it ether scrols the page or completely removes me from the chat window.
it worked perfectly before the change, wondering what happened to screw this up..........
