Most of us don't.
Also, I know no one gives a crap about Klout, but it's still hilarious and I still +Ked it.

ROFL, fail on both Santorum and the reporters part. You never cuss in front of the press, especially if you are running for President (imo).
More hilarious is watching Santorum's daughter start with a fake smile greeting then eventually catching on to the situation as her dad gets mad, and turning away from the camera.
"Purged in death's shadows, Necromancy wails anew, Life that is breathless."
Wow, that's pretty funny. Even before he curses. Total d-bag.
I don't know. Don't people want honesty? My general primary apathy aside, I think that's one of the weaker arguments against a candidate we could have.
/edit/
Wait... total d-bag? You mean the part where he was telling the guy that he didn't actually say that? I literally did a double-take when I read that. He had some attitude when he first responded, but then seemed to have a point. Are we really so biased against certain candidates that we hate even their more reasonable arguments?

Yeah, there are much better arguments against Santorum than that.
I don't care for cussing personally, or getting mad, but meh.

It was his attitude. He didn't start off trying to be nice, he immediately had a major attitude, instead of saying "No, that's not what I said." How many times have you seen Obama react that way?
It's unprofessional and it's not very becoming of a presidential candidate.

Republicans tend to confuse aggressive with strong, and charismatic with smart.
And "good for the 1%" with "good for the 99%".

You know, I'm usually against general statements like "Republicans...." but I've been reading this book called Only Yesterday. It's about life in the 1920s and it was written in 1931, so it's a fresh view by someone who lived through them. It's unbelievable how little things have changed.
In the 1920 election, the Republicans literally went digging for a candidate who was the complete opposite of Wilson. They figured out that they could defeat almost anything they wanted by calling it Bolshevist or socialist. They were also really spiteful- they hated Wilson and basically launched a campaign to completely firebomb anything he wanted to do.
Seriously, it's like reading about the Obama campaign.

I'm usually against general statements like "Republicans...." but there are still patterns and averages that are hard to ignore.
I mean, they did as a group select those guys to represent them.

I guess nobody remembers Howard Dean...
Speaking of politics... What ever did happen to JMervyn? I somehow missed whatever happened.
I'm not married to either party's ideology as being a real solution for our problems, so I tend to not get so bombastic about political discussions. Yeah, I'm registered as a republican, but I'm my actual affiliation would more accurately be "meh" for a few years now. The struggle is where you try to find yourself when disgusted with the extreme wings of both large parties. (basically, Pelosi & PETA or Corporations & rednecks)
