Blin, Trump was so pissed, heh.
Speaking of mad, one of the new (I think) Newt Gingrich ads vs Mitt Romney:
"Purged in death's shadows, Necromancy wails anew, Life that is breathless."
False. He responded multiple times, right away, actually. He said it was untrue. Others said it was unture. Birthers pushed. He released part of his birth certificate. Birthers said it was fake / not enough. He released his full birth certificate, birthers still said it was fake for a while.
EDIT: In case you want some backup.
I don't know what the process for becoming president is, but I'm SURE it includes a thorough background check (including checking to see where you were born). And "having no boss" is not technically true. We have the system of checks and balances in place, so he can't just do whatever he want. Lately, it hasn't really been working....

That documentation makes sense, wiki source aside. Thanks for that. I'd just like to state for the record that I was a casual observer of it all, since it seemed like a silly issue to me. (rather than one of the conspiracy folks) Based on the link, compared to what I heard at the time, it seems like there was mis-and-disinformation going around about exactly how Hawaii handles its birth certificate records, what was presented, how official it was, etc. I guess that could partially be to blame for it being a nagging media issue. You can see why it seemed odd and possibly misleading to lots of folks, considering how many of us could produce a full certificate of birth upon request.
Anyway, at least now we can all resume the important issues... like taxes, budgets, and his racist former pastor.Kidding. (though he has wacky liberation theology)
A sword might be grateful to the forge fire, but never fond of it.

If you listen to the folks too much (media, politicians, etc), you might also think global warming is just a theory, and that scientists are still debating it. Or evolution for that matter.
When you actually listen to experts though, a very different story emerges.

Here is the short documentary "When Mitt Romney Came To Town"; Gingrich has bought it, and will be splicing it up into many commercials. I watched it and found the argument weak; I felt the research into the issue of the companies being shut down superficial at best, milking sympathetic testimonials alongside one-sided quotations.
Overall all, I see all this Republican hazing not only coming back to bite the images of those who release it, but strengthening Romney as a candidate in regards to Obama, by dragging his dirty business early, taking away from material Obama's campaign could freshly use.
Depending on how one reacts to something, shove dirty business across the media and eventually people loose interest, ignore it, forgive the person, etc. Obama's campaign will have to enliven this material somehow again (if Romney is the nominee) when the real debates start up.
"Purged in death's shadows, Necromancy wails anew, Life that is breathless."
The GOP candidates are doing a great job of making themselves all unelectable.
