Awww, way to ruin all the fun guys. Now what are comedy writers going to ridicule?
It's American politics. What are they not going to ridicule?

/sigh
Entertainment-wise the general election (imo) is going to be lacking at first--team Obama will be attacking Romney on the same exact stuff his Republican runner-ups have done so far during their primaries. The latest again concerns Romney's pet dog being put in a kennel on the top of their car--eventually new material will show either by investigative discovery or gaffs along the way.
Whether it is the same material or not, polls show Romney catching slightly in the polls--a close race alongside free money burning super PACs not afraid to mix some cement in their mud, the general election process is going to be a nasty and tiring affair.
"Purged in death's shadows, Necromancy wails anew, Life that is breathless."
I don't expect Romney to have much of a chance, to be honest. We'll know more as time goes on, of course, but my money is on Obama.
That said, I'm on the Obama mailing list and I don't think the Obama campaign is going to be as gruesome as the Republican bid was, nor do I think we'll see all the same criticism rehashed. So far it's been about his stance on taxes.
Evidently it's not enough of a circus yet.
Roseanne Barr is running for the Green Party nomination.

Maybe if Americans stop treating elections like American Idol and start paying attention to their candidate's CV instead...

lol Maybe we should actually start treating the elections like American Idol, in that case.
