I might not care for McCain's agenda, but I consider him a better candidate by far than most of the clowns getting a lot of votes this time around.
Also, years of experience =/= best CV. But I'll stop the debate here because I don't actually know either's CV well enough to comment. My comment was rather for Bush vs Gore.
The kennel thing happened, but to be fair they said it was a car kennel especially designed to carry dogs on top of cars. It's not like he tied a dog cage on top of his car with rope.

I haven't paid attention, I think the last time around it was between a ****** and a woman? Do we have some similar hilarious match-up this time?

Not sure who's winning republican (did they finish yet?) but either way it'll be an out-of-touch rich WASP or some such clone. Perfect to have a battle of the classes (despite that Obama isn't exactly 99% material).

That guy sounds like a massive tit. But he stopped didn't he? I mean he's not possible to vote for anymore.
Funny thing, that. In America, they improved on dictatorships. I mean, in a dictatorship, you're usually allowed to vote. But you can only vote on one guy. They set up "elections" just to show that they have the support of the people. It's all fake because you only have one choice. Hitler did this, Stalin did this... Even Saddam did this. But America is the land of the free. So there, they allow you a choice between two guys. That's 100% more democratic.

They had what, 7 candidates running for republican? I think that's a big enough sample.
Of course, most of them were flawed, but even then some of the best ones got poor votes. Seems to me that you can blame democracy, but the media did a poor job of covering the debates and the candidates properly, and then voters are not doing a good job either of actually getting the relevant information and making informed decisions.
Plenty of blame to go around.

I was hoping the GOP would split into two parties. I was honestly hoping the Tea Party would actually stand on its own and become a third party in our system. Not because I wanted them to be legitimized, but so they'd take all the nutty Republicans and we can actually have two quasi-sane parties instead of the circus shows we get. Because most Republicans (the ones who do not watch FOX News) I know are embarrassed by the nonsense of their party from the last several years.
