Over 27,000 now. The response should be interesting. The petition currently has 21,374 signatures — when it reaches 25,000, the Obama administration has pledged to officially respond.

Make yourself heard, people! Let's get that number high enough that they can't just blow it off.

Rofl fail Dodd.
So the petition has already reached its goal of 25k signatures, and the White House has apparently said they'd respond to it if it reached its goal.

You can tell the quality of life of people by what they complain about
Don't get your hopes up. Almost every White House response I've seen so far has been them blowing it off. Still, it's awesome.
I hope one gets made to investigate representatives for ACCEPTING and trying to pass legislation based on these bribes...
Of course the petition is being blown off.
The part that tickles me is how phenomenally embarassing this is for both the White House and that Dodd person, no matter how they respond.
Makes me wish I was a Yank, so I could add my signature.
Very un-European of me, I know. Don't tell anyone.

These people seriously need to lose their jobs.
I'm sick of these parasitic rightsholder butt-monkeys. They really disgust me, and their continual attempts to hold on to their outdated business practice, completely in the face of common sense and public opinion, annoys the heck out of me.
