Simply put, what is the easiest way to achieve Zaishen Rank 3, by spending Balthazar Faction (Willing to convert Imperial to Balthazar)?
I need 135 more points. Am I correct to guess that a FA/JQ match yields about 2000 Balthazar points, in about 10 minutes, therefore saying that I'd have Zaishen Rank 3 in about 10 hours?

Fastest? It depends how good you are and how easily you can get a good team. I heard that GvG is the best place if you have the skills. For the rest of us (me included), I don't honestly know, but since you are doing zaishen you might as well sample the different PvP casual styles (RA, FA, AB, JQ). If you already did, then I'd guess any one that gives mainly balthazar.
Nice thing about RA is short wait times between games. If you go on JQ or FA, wait times might be lower on luxon side, well they used to be anyway.
Good luck!

Thanks! I'd pick RA, since it has short wait times indeed, but AFAIK you can only get a max of 300 faction per match, which isn't all that much, because it's still RA and you don't win flawlessly all that much. I guess I'll just stick to AB/FA/JQ then. GvG is not really an option, I'm afraid, since I don't really have that much skills unlocked, and I have no experience whatsoever with the current state of the PvP of GW, especially not in the more competitive areas. Thanks for the answer though.
GvG is definitely the fastest, yes. Of course, faster still would be to buy the keys.. but the quickest way to make money is also through pvp..
Or spend $15 bucks for 100 ecto, I guess. But I'm sticking to ways which don't have a high probability of getting your account banned.

Keep in mind zaishen combat quests. They add a substantial reward to any PvP you do. I would get it on all my characters, and then I could do as much PvP as I wanted until I could get it again.

You could do the lazy way too
Just do the Zaishen training every 24h for 2k points (that's the limit). This way you can get 14k Balthy points a week which roughly translates into 3 zkeys. I earned most of my Balthy points with JQ (which I used to unlock my skills for neglected classes like Assassin or Dervish)

I kind of mixed your suggestions, by taking the Daily quest for Codex Arena, discovering some cool skills for Assassin in the progress. It seems that the Factions PvP is still the fastest way, though. Unless you have a team of resigners in CA :P

Zaishen elite caps at 6k (not in addition to normal, so if you do elite, don't do normal).
Frankly though, it's more entertaining to PvP. Zaishen combat makes just about any format actually good income.

JQ + FA on Zaishen Tourist days are one of my favourite GW activities as the faction rolls in quite nicely. Even when it's not the bounty, if you like one particular aspect of FA or like JQ, then you can quite easily get a bunch of Faction with little effort.
I did JQ by the bucketload for my Faction title a few years back and made quite a few Zkeys in the process, now with the changes to Faction and with just Zkeys as your goal, it should be even easier. ^_^

Yeah, when you think about it, it's an amazing source of money. I got 3-4 Zkeys today through casual play. If you'd really put effort into it, with maybe some double faction weekends, or Zquests, one could easily make 50k or more a day.
But first, my zaishen rank! :p
