i signed in for hero engine to see if that tool works, for what they show in youtube video's it's a really easy engine specifically made for MMO's.
it takes 3 day's for them to make my own server space and to set up the right tools, after that i can just get to work.
i am first gonna see how the map designer works since that's my specialty, also hoping implanting my own prefabs and textures is easy.

I'm eager to see what you cook up. So post some screens once you've got something running.

Meanwhile I'm patiently waiting for my two artists friends to come up with a high res fancy version of two of the backgrounds of my game. I'm really curious to see if they will be able to bring the style on par with say, the awesome art of Monkey Island 2.

I discovered a new bug while trying to fix one that made jump height a bit random. Turns out that I can climb walls by repeatedly jumping on them.

Of course, it's so fun to do that that I cannot justify removing the bug now, I have to fix it but find a way to keep it for usage on skills or profession or something.

Of course, I am not entirely removing... I am choosing a way to incorporate it into gameplay properly.

Generally, there is a lot of freedom on movement in my game, so such an ability would not be game-breaking.

Agreed. It worked for the likes of Tribes after all.

Tribes had a technique that allowed you to "ski" down a hill and, if you made it to the crest of another hill, shoot yourself across the map like a rocket. It started out as an exploitable bug in the first game, but it became a true feature by design from the sequel onwards.
