You would have thought the ad agency would have learned the first time. Guess EA's $$$ is too strong for them...

I am not having any problems with lag here, but I am sure Rush is looking into it. Thanks for the heads up!

I don't see this banner being int he UK but I will check into it.

Are you even sure it is the same ad agency?
Wasn't the problem with the Rift ad the fact that it was a pushdown? This Arthur ad looks like a "polite ad" in that it requires user interaction to expand, which is more than fine.

The problem isn't the fact that it requires you to expand, but that it requires to load the entire ad in the first place, including the animations, which is what induces the lag.
Abd interestingly enough, the ad expanded the first time I entered this site today without me inputing any command. It hasn't expanded since but the lag remains.
These kinds of ads are supposed to expand when you load the page; as someone pointed out last time, this being a forum, that kind of functionality isn't really appropriate.
I'm glad that GWO is getting these types of ads: Skins are way more costly than standard ads, especially since it seems like they are client-direct, as opposed to through a network. Of course, none of us should have to deal with reduced site functionality.

I don't have that problem.

Laggy here too.
No site moving, but the ads do take a sizeable chunk of processor power if left running in the background.
