I am not sure if that works or if it just takes the 2/3 clours of your currently equipped piece of armor (so there is no "on the fly" changing of preview armors).Originally Posted by Alaris

Here is a picture gallery of female Sylvari wearing "regular human armor" (light & some medium) in purple & black.

Sylvari pretty much look like humans that way (with the exception of the hair style, if you make that visible under the mask/helmet etc.). I think it will be a challenge to mix & match Sylvari cultural pieces with "regular" armor and still hoild on to the feeling of "plant people" and not "elves in clothes" which was a big issue before the redesign of the Sylvari had happened.

BTW, Verene over at The Pale Tree has made a nice screenshot of the Champions armor that fits a Sylvari very well, I think

Haha, thank you. I redyed that armor about a hundred times :P I originally had a red and white-ish color scheme that I thought was nice but not what I was looking for:

(excuse the blahness of the graphics - I'd turned them down to do WvW and forget to set everything back up at max)
I also redyed it again during the previous stress test, but I can't remember what colors and I didn't screencap it. The fancier armors are definitely trickier to dye, because the individual dye channels sometimes overlap and blend with each other.
Also, I adore that Champion set. I'll have to figure out where/how you get it, because I must have it. My sylvari mesmer will look awesome in it.
(also, amused - my boyfriend was looking up sylvari male armors, sent me the link to this thread, and goes "hey, that's you!" XD)

Champion armour mixed with Tier 3 Snapdragon
Not all armour seems to pick up the base colours of the one you are currently wearing (e.g. the Sylvari cultural armours I tried with my Warrior)
With the PvP Locker showing all kinds of armour (even armour not for your profession) I think we have to add a "Locker" TAG to the screen shots, so people can see that this is not a combo they can make for their character as their standard armour.
