Battledepths + Master of the North

I'm about 15 points away from Master of the North. The two areas I need to finish is Battledepths in HM (red flag post) and Kathandrax in NM. I'm not sure what to do exactly in Battledepths for it to be completed with a gold flag post. I went to Heart of the Shiverpeaks for it but on my map it shows the open chest indicating it's completed. Do I have to VQ all of the enemies in Battledepths?

That area is part of that quest and also a dungeon. But instead of Cyndr (who you'll find during Heart of the Shiverpeaks), there's another boss there. By doing that quest, you also do that dungeon by default.
