    proph missions exploreable

    as title says
proph is the only campaign where you cant explore (whether its the title or just sightseeing) and play in the missions without doing the mission

    why i'd ask for this:
    - it makes more possible
    - exploring can be easier (not to make it easier, just to NOT let you have to watch npc's and such, so that you can take it easy)
    - can enjoy more areas
    - cantha and elona have this already (maybe cuz people liked it, they did that, so more reason to do same to proph)
    - can put in some quests, whether its sidequests or story quests *more info below*
    - WiK allows only kryta (War in Kryta)

i dont see any problems, as on guru i made this suggestion a yera ago, and they were complaining about vqs, but WiK exploreables arent vq-able either (the missions that is)
and there's no reason to say "its not needed, so they shouldnt" which means "i dont like it, so they shouldnt"

let them also make quests for inside the exploreable parts of the missions, so that there actually is a purpose of being there
can be sidequests where you just gotta do proph-ish quests, like killing enemies and/or talking to some npc's, which should also have HM versions

can also be storyquests, which tells more about stuff that happened or will happen in the future (some kinda bridge like WiK and WoC)
by making it only a few chain quests, they wont need to make it into a whole new content like WiK and WoC, so they got more time to do other stuff AND make people happier, as new exploreable areas never are bad
they could also let some enemies drop certain stuff like mini's or pre sear nicholas gifts or anything

then they could buff the enemies in those missions more than in regular areas, like giving them a few more skills, maybe change them into eotn enemies, like charr

the only res point would be where you start

of course i dont expect them to do this anytime soon (if they would), but it would be fun to have them like that, and cant harm vq as they dont count as vq area, and explorers can choose of how to explore them

ps. i searched on the forums, and didnt find any topic about this, so if there was such suggestion already, sry for my bad searching ( i only typed "explore missions" )

oh yea, they could also put in a boss on HM which would join zaishen bounty or something... just for fun, but thats not much i guess

I like this suggestion, but I don't think it's reasonable to expect them to do it. It would be nice, of course.

I think they split missions and explorables, and then later on decided that it was easier to reuse areas (with a bit more planning). Mission areas would be boring for exploring because they are very linear.

It's still be nice for them to do that, but it seems like a lot of work especially if they do this for all missions. However, time permitting, if they make more WoC-like content, they could do a few in those areas.

in both cantha and elona most missions are explorable, proph on the other hand doesn't even have one.
i think they should be explorable, in some missions it's hard to get somewhere without failing the mission.
i can agree that it does give a sense of challenge but failing every single time because X has to stay alive is more frustrating then anything, if i like to explore an area without the pressure then i should be able to.

Or you could simply leave your Heroes to protect the NPC and take some running build like SF to explore.... But I'm not against this, I just think ANet will never have time for things like this...

Your English is a bit broken; are you saying that you think missions should be explorable areas? Like to Vanq? I'd be ok with that because it adds more areas to vanq and explore at a different pace.

But I agree with jam that there isn't really a driving need and it will never happen. And most missions can be explored at your own leisure. From memory it's only Northern Wall that is a real rush (but there are probably others I'm forgetting.)

dunes of despair is the most annoying one, you have to protect the ghost hero against waves of enemies, worm attack AND have enough forces to move around.
heroes who stand on one spot get wiped in seconds so flagging them is not a good idea, add the problem with just 5 heroes able to take with you and disaster all the way.

so yes, it is a good idea to be able to explore this one, but why stop with just one mission when all of them should be explorable.

I only had one SoS/bonder protecting the Ghostly Hero, and it survived for like 5 mins before running out of energy... You can always leave all 5 heroes there and go by yourself with some running build. Flagged heroes don't really get wiped unless it's a huge mass mob they're confronting, or it's hard mode. Ironic, that one of the hardest missions to explore is also one of the largest. :P

DoD is by far the easiest mission, until you try the bonus.
it can easily be done with a human team, a hero team, not so much.

remember, the title is called "explore" not "unfog as fast as possible"
so i like to take it easy and walk around, and as i said: give us some nice quests and maybe 1 or 2 minis to drop from certain missions (exploreable)
i think having the same enemies makes more sense, look at cantha (without WoC enemies) and elona

explore title should be the same as sightseeing, in other words, wandering around some, and to make it more useful, adding some quests
maybe some more zaishen bounties? but then incredibly low reward in NM, and regular rewards in HM (regular for HM)
like 10 copper z coins for NM, and 70/80 in HM

i dont mind them being vqable, but that'd hurt others who did vq proph and those who dont like to vq missions, so it could be like WiK has done: talk to an npc in the outpost, that npc teleports you to the exploreable area of that mission, and you can fill in the rest
