Generally speaking, the stronger world will often be in situations where they'll be fighting against the other two, just by map design.

I was originally planning on playing a Thief, and, with the stealth mechanics, planning on sneaking around solo and disrupting things. Now with the Thief changes, I think I'll scrap that...

If there's friends around, I'll play with them, patrolling the lands and defending resources from sneaky types, and occasionally engaging in larger skirmishes to remind everyone of my might.

Also, I need to level one character in WvWvW to 80 without dying, cause I'm totally up for that free lunch. Possibly, I have slight love for the certain person who offered the challenge.

I'll probably try to find a guild interested in doing some WvW, and go at it in guild groups. If I see our server getting organized, I might go in with a Thief/Mesmer/Ranger from time to time to do some solo scouting and report enemy movements to whoever is coordinating our side. Well, if the other side is organized enough to make scouting worth it at least. No sense doing it if they're just Zerging.

Knowing when to retreat for force in is awesome, and so is playing in unfavorable numbers and still winning.

I like that it's 3 teams for the balance, but I will probably spend more time on the front than in the chaos zones.
If you only knew how many times this exact feeling of facing seemingly insurmountable odds, and coming out victorious has happened to me in competitive PvP. That is definitely not exclusive to uncoordinated pub play.

So after I watched a video..
    As expected, a Zerg Rush.
Then again, the guys who were playing (Red) only had 5 guys on their team, Green had an army zerg rushing (I think it was green) and Blue was nowhere to be seen.

At one moment he had a lot of elementals and ogres running after him.
Maybe you can lure them all into the ongoing fight at a capture point.

Of course not. It just happens more in uncoordinated play afaik. Although splits in GvG probably face this all the time too.

Yay me for already having a guild with experienced mass PvP leaders :D (that means our zerg will crush your zerg :p)

You guys should probably Hit up on Mike Ferguson over at Reddit as he's about to begin a questions and answers session on WvWvW.

Now that completely depends on your role and your playstyle. The way we always played, it was happening every match.
