stop watching cat videos on youtube then
It's literally not even downloading at this point. Just hanging there.
Uck, it must be bad if it's even a pain in the butt to get the game.
I think it's detecting that you're using the comp so it's scaling back the download so it doesn't kill your bandwidth. I seem to vaguely recall something like that happening. Check the options maybe.
I usually just leave things downloading overnigiht, so I didn't notice anything of the sort the last time I downloaded it, I woke up and it was done and installed.

there was a p2p option I could disable. I turned it off as soon as I saw it. didn't have a prob.
I've been having a nice time playing a happy-go-lucky cute puppy-loving chanter with great hair for the last day or so. I think the best part, so far, has been finding the sound file that makes all those really annoying battle grunt sounds every time she swings the staff and deleting it. And then restoring it from the recycle bin so I could delete it again.
How did ANYONE think that was a good idea?

P2P is why it's so slow... I noticed that right away, but didn't know there was an option to disable it. Ugh.
Well, I had ME3 to keep me busy.

I've decided to give AION another shot, mostly because a: it's free and b: because I already have a vet account thanks to the beta + three months I originally played. By chance a new UK server had opened only a few days ago so should make leveling up this chanter easier. Hopefully it'll keep me entertained until GW2.
