I am wondering if anyone else have an ending made up for the main character. Here is mine:
1) Prologue
Chipsy Chips came from a long line of necromancers. Her family speciality is blood magic, although they are fluent with both death magic and curses. It is only natural for Chipsy to follow her family's foot steps.
For years her family assisted in Ascalon's battle against the Charrs. And for years her family has argued for the use darker, more powerful magic to ensure victory. For example, her family purposed a research into a deadly virus that will spread among the Charrs and kill thousands. Obviously, Charrs would need to be captured and be experimented on. Unfortunately, "The Order" did not support her family's views. They deem any experiment that involves unwilling test subjects illegal. They also valued the importance of "honourable combat", and so any weapons of mass destruction (WMD) are also banned.
As a result, Chipsy's family were not popular within the order. In fact many viewed them as outcasts, although not officially since Chipsy's family obeyed The Order's ruling.
In her childhood, Chipsy were very close with her mother. This was due to the fact that her mother raised her single handedly. Chipsy's father died defending Ascalon when she was still an infant.
However her mother was a strong supporter of those illegal dark magic. And as Chipsy grows up, due to influences by her other necromancer teachers, she took the side of The Order. As a result, Chipsy and her mother often do not meet eye to eye during her teenage years.
And then came the Searing.
The Searing changed everything. When Chipsy returned home that day, all she saw there was a crystal the size of a tower. She never recovered the body of her mother, as the crystal was too big to be moved. Hatred for the Charr, and guilt over never reconciling with her mother washed over her.
After much thinking, Chipsy's point of view took a 180 degree turn. It became obvious to her that the Searing would never have happened had The Order been more open to new ideas. Had those "illegal" experiments been carried out, the Charrs could have been annihilated and the Searing would never have happened. And ironically the Charrs used WMD against Ascalon, when Ascalon was so hesitant to even research into WMDs. By showing "grace" toward the Charrs, The Order bought destruction upon Ascalon. All The Order does is limit Ascalon by meaningless laws and rules.
With that, Chipsy vowed to do whatever it takes to defeat the Charrs and save Ascalon.
2) Ending
During the next decade, Chipsy had travelled though much of the known world. She had fought countless monsters and took on many sides. She meet many friends and also many enemies. At one point, she even invited a Charr into her party. She was viewed as heroes by many. However not many knows her darkest secrets.
Back in Ascalon, in an underground lab, she and the last 3 members of her clan had been carrying on with her family's legacy. Hidden from the view of The Order, there are no rules here.
Charr children along the border has been disappearing for years. Many though that they wondered off and were killed by the local wild life. However the fact is many were kidnapped by Chipsy's clan. They were carried back to the underground lab and be experimented on. Very few survive more than a few months.
After years of research, a breakthrough is near. A virus has been evolved that is extremely deadly against the Charrs. If this virus is planned into the water supply, thousands of Charrs would be infected. And as they travel they would spread the virus to other towns. The virus will stay dormant for 3 months, before its deadly effects are felt. By then the virus would have reached most major cities of the Charrs.
Unfortunately for Chipsy, the location of her lab and her plans were leaked out for unknown reasons. The Order quickly gathered many "heroes" and launched a full scale invasion against her lab. Everyone in the lab, including Chipsy's last 3 clan members, died to buy her some time to escape. Chipsy escaped, carrying a small jar with the virus.
She don't hate The Order. They don't understand. Everyone in her clan expected and accepted this since day 1. Someday, they will understand her. Someday, they will see the true heroes that she is.
Planning to sneak north deep into Charr territory, she disguised herself as a merchant. After 2 months of travelling, she reached a Charr city that is sizeable enough to spread the virus.
However to her surprise the city is nearly deserted. And without enough Charrs around, the virus won't spread quick enough to cause enough damage. She asked a wondering Charr, and discovered that the Charr rebellion between the Shamans and Pyre Fierceshot had reached new heights. Cities and towns changed hand rapidly between the two, and thousands has perished in the conflict. The Charr's army along the Ascalon border is just a show of force. Many hasn't eaten for weeks. Not to mention many are non combatants, that were forced by the Shamans to stand at the border just for looks.
It is then that Chipsy realize just how similar the Charrs are to the humans. Both races are willing to fight to the death, often against their own race, for their point of view. Mere opinions are often enough for thousands to die. And each time this happens, many innocent bystanders gets hurt. Even if the Charrs goes extinct, and only humans are left, there will be conflicts. And innocent bystanders will continue to suffer. So at the end of the day, all Chipsy can achieve here is her personal revenge against the Charr. She isn't going to save Ascalon or the humans, since she cannot save Ascalon from themselves.
She will never be that heroine that she aimed to be. It is a fact: She isn't.
It was then the members and heroes of The Order catched up to her.
"Villainess. Now you shall pay for your crimes!"
"You were once our hero. We were wrong."
"Who in their right mind will treat a child like that? No matter human or Charr!"
Good. Die by the hands of those she swore to protect. Perfect punishment for her mistakes.
But then a Charr squad shown up.
"Meats! You are brave to wonder this deep into our territory. Now its your end."
"Haha! Foolish humans never think before they act!"
The Order were seriously outnumbered. They are obviously scared.
"Hey you! Help us fight against these Charrs. Maybe we will "let you" escape."
Chipsy turned to ask the Charrs: "Who do you fight for? The Shamans or Pyre Fierceshot?
"Meat! You are not worthy to even say our leader's name!"
Dying by the hands of the underlings of an old friend. That isn't too bad neither.
As the two sides gets ready to fight, Chipsy wonder which death will fit her more.
And she decided.
Chipsy opened her jar and drink all the virus down.
"Charrs, Don't come close to me! I have a virus in me that's highly contagious. Stay away if you value your life."
"Ha! You think I would fall for that?"
"She speaks the truth! We chased her all the way here for this purpose. She had been conducting illegal experiments on Charr children to create this virus!"
"What? Roar!!! She must die!!!"
"We agree. And since you Charrs cannot touch her, let us do it. If you would spare our lives, we will gladly kill her for you."
"Ok. Kill her."
The Order members drew their swords and got near Chipsy.
"Any last words?"
"Ascalon will fall because of your Order. And words cannot describe how terrible you people are. And yet I will gladly pay any price, lose all my honour and give up my life, to protect people like you. Remember me as a villain so others will either avoid my footsteps, or walk my path even further to its conclusion."
With that, that virus died with Chipsy Chips, the Black Blooded Witch.

I don't RP, nor do I write stories for my characters outside of what the game dictates. Well, sort of.
Over time, if I tend to use the same names for the same kind of characters, they get a personality in my head. And I have written a whole book with the ones I have amassed over the years, plus my friend's.

I tend to RP personality too, but not backstory etc. I'm looking forward though to your own story in GW2, I plan to RP my choices according to the characters I play.

My problem is that I can't play evil or jerky characters... The best I can do is a good guy who's kind of sarcastic. So my playthroughs tend to be the same over and over
Everytime I hear someone mention RPing I think of Lois in the Grimace suit.

Now I want a Grimace suit in GW2.
I RP heroes, but heroes come in different forms. Some are tacticians (sylvari engineer, asura ranger), some survivors struggling through as they can (sylvari guardian), some have sadistic tencencies (charr necro), and some are just in for the display of power (norn mesmer, human elementalist).

I dont have just one main character...though I have thought of a few stories for some of them....
my frist character and my hubbys character are an item (we created them at the same time).
my mesmers are all related--one is from tyria--she stayed with her dad while her mom went back to cantha (pregnant and had my canthan mesmer)...they also have a cousin from elona.
my 'main' monk is from tyria....he is an explorer, he got the title 'wall hugger' (but has since been replaced with 'lockpick breaker' as he rarely keeps a lockpick even with an 85% chance!)....I believe he will live out his days at some monastery.....
have no idea about endings---besides my ele and my hubby's warrior getting together----
My main, ranger, is from Regent Valley. She eventually ends up in the Ascalon settlement in Kryta. Probably a happily-ever-after kind of ending.
