How does it work? If I die, can a necro from the opposing team use my body? Can the necro on my team use my corpse too?

Yup, and then you can get rezzed and get back on with it.

Any dead body can be exploited - pets too.

But yeah, anyone can use any body once, so you need to exploit it first if there are opposing necros.

A dead body can only be exploited once. So yes, either side's necro can use the body, but not first one and then the other. Only one will be able to use it.

Resurrection does not count as exploitation, so that is always possible.
