Which gender will you play

I voted what I'll most likely play first, male me / male it.

It all depends on what I decide to play first up until that point. It sounds sexist but real data can back it up, casters tend to be played by females and physical dps tends to be male players... except rangers but I think thats because of the pet. Regardless, I usually end up following those ingrained stereotypes when making characters.

So tldr, male because I'll start with a warrior most likely then end up playing a female mesmer more later.

Well, that's the question, isn't it? I voted female character, male player just because that's how I've always done it. Mostly because non-hulking male characters have always kinda been on the "meh" side. But I'm open to playing in the character creation process for a long time.

only my mesmer will be human female....rest races all male...its looking tough for a charr though, as they are not looking good in any armour be male or female...that tail sticking out doesn't look good at all.

Depends on the race. My Charr and my Asura will be male. The rest will most likely be female. I'm a female player.

Sylvari could have been genderless or a slider for gender appearance. Some races could have more than 2 genders even. I'm happy lore-wise they at least have one asexual race, that's a start.

I'm not concerned so much about the deep south USA, it's a fantasy game. We're playing as evolved leafs, they are even asexual.
