Case in point, human female boobs are abnormally large, something we don't otherwise see in the mammal kindgom. Which is why pandas with boobs instantly look weird, there's no such thing in nature (at least not visibly so).
Humans are very handy animals. They love to grab stuff since they are young. Grabbing their mothers' "huge" breast while drinking milk gives them comfort.

Another thing is humans are one of the few animals that walks upright 24/7, so it affects how they carry babies around. Big breasts act as pillows for the babies when the mother holds them.

what is useless in nature is useful in science, don't dismiss evolution so easily.
Creatures couldn't care less if they are useless or not. They just survive.

Interesting theories... are those actually supported by science or just your own thoughts?

According to wiki it's still debated, though I was under the impression that it was selection gone wrong (e.g. same thing as peacocks).

big breasts and bouncing babies aside...

I've always preferred to play a female human, as a way of living out a perverse fantasy... although according to these poll results, I might not be that perverse.

sadly it's not just surviving in general, it survived trough the entire earth's history........that's just creepy, something that useless survives but something as useful as a velociraptor died.

then again, nice way to say to Christians that god is a mosquito.
it's alive but cannot be living, it's dead but lives a mortal life.
