In my sword practice, they were also teaching the whipping motion. However the fun thing is that instead of aiming at your opponent, you aim past him... so your blade is meant to go through him.

I voted male char for male player. BUT I'm not so sure. I plan to make an human Elementarist as main char but since I've spent a fair amount of months playing a Jedi Consular in SW:TOR , I'm not too happy with the choice of voice actor. so, unless ANet come up with some nice voice pitching or so it might very well be a female main. I never had a female main character before so it might be fun, I don't know. Too bad Claudia Christian is a Nord.

This is probably because guy chars look goofy while girl chars don't, ergo the girls don't mind being represented by girl chars, and the guys would rather look at hot girl chars than goofy looking man-***.
