From now on we will not just bring you news surrounding Guild Wars 2, but even more insights on the game itself. Each week build factory will feature one top-notch spec ! Create a true archetype of your profession... surprise with an unconventional approach... find hidden synergies... we got all for you !
Update 26/05/12
Build Factory will go into semi-hiatus until release. Builds are still changing a lot, and we lack the true high-end / competitive content that separates the wheat from chaff. Still we have shown you how Guild Wars 2 brakes out of the ordinary in both combat style and profession design, and demonstrated the variety of ways professions can play out and contribute. At the same time we offered you a whole lot of high quality builds to pick up and jump into straight the action, without having to spend precious time on basic build crafting.
But stay tuned for what's still to come...
List of builds:
Ranger, Active Defence
A super slippery build, employing active defences to stay ever ahead of his enemies, while mercilessly sapping their strength and life.
Thief, Killing Them Softly
A strong condition build able to join any group and adapt to any situation, yet with enough defences to not topple over at the first sight of opposition.
Elementalist, Wind Rider
A build not seeking simple personal but strategic advantage, getting around the battlefield quickly with the ability to swing key battles in his favour.
Warrior, For Great Justice !
Learn how to be more than a dumb grunt and discover the flexible combat styles and great group role warriors can play in GW2.
Engineer, Blazing Assault
Straight forward play, strong capabilities in base assault and defence, team support and a surprising amount of sturdiness make this build a top choice for PVP.
Necromancer, Death Revealed
Max your Death Shroud to become great in any solo situation, play an unconventional necromancer without minions and have a highly customisable build framework at your fingertips.
Guardian, Dazzling Fires
A true child of Guild Wars 2, it features actual control instead of trying to tank by getting beaten up, while also bringing a wallop of damage and good group support !
Mesmer, the Shatter
A PVP build based on spike damage, capitalising on the mesmer's unique illusions while staying just out of the grasp of furious enemies.
