I addressed the unlock speed in the blog that went live a few minutes ago. I was kind of tedious for the Elementalist, as he had to do the "unlock thing" four times because of his attunement swapping.

Agreed for the other professions. I don't personally care for that degree of hand-holding.
Considering how many people spammed on recharge though, maybe some teaching is in order... but I prefer to learn by experimenting from the get-go.

I can see it being good for other people, but I personally prefer having access to more skills earlier... especially as an alt-a-holic. It will get tedious by the 6th character.

Sounds like the Elementalist unlocks need work...
That was a class I didn't play at all in GW 1, but I intend to in GW 2, at least a little bit. Seem way more versatile.

To be fair, unlocks are pretty quick. Not as quick as I'd like, but pretty quick. I assume that if you swap weapons enough, even the elementalist would be fully unlocked before you get to your first dungeon, or even level up to 15.
