I am currently in the precess of doing Winds of Change with my warrior in Hard Mode, Normal Mode went smoothly but it seems the build teams I have just get cut to ribbons I cant even get past the first mission in Hard Mode any team suggestions would be great, I am trying to do everything with heroes due to my work schedule. Any feedback would be great
Hi,
Can you maybe give us a bit more details about the builds you run and what heroes/campaigns(/mercs?) you have available?
As general advise, it helps a lot to keep your warrior ahead of the group, take the initial damage and try to ball up the enemies as much as possible. A little micro such as pre-protting your warrior and keeping heroes behind with flags can often make the difference between success and wipe.
Usually I bring lots of spirits and minions and run dslash/SY on my warrior, but would really need to know more about what you have available.
Ah, I saw your PM before your thread.
I'll second what satenia said about trying to take the brunt of the assault and keeping the heroes back. Even to the point of flagging if you need to. If things get by you, minions or maybe spirits will help.
Some other thoughts:
Again, if anything gets by you, AoE from eles and mesmers is likely what is getting you early in WoC. Consider Panic since the mobs are big. Or customize your own rangers and mesmers.
On a similar note, AoE heals will help a lot, particularly Protective Was Kaolai since it is used the instant AoE damage hits.

WOC Team build.jpg
Here is the build im currently using. I have most of the heroes and can acquire any skill i might need. Thanks for the advice guys and let me know what you think .
Is that the team getting destroyed?
In my opinion it is lacking damage. Also the energy management of half of your team is compromised by the mesmers and each other (i.e. they won't all be able to land an interrupt on the same target, and it might not work anyway because of two Panics.)
A couple suggestions to dramatically increase damage: Replace the communing rit with a Channeling/Resto rit and add SW and ARage. If you're going to take a curses necro, put on Mark of Pain, and possibly Barbs (Barbs is "eh", but better than most curses.)
I think your monk could use some bigger heals, but that's entirely my own preference. I really like WoH and HB. Yours lacks a consistent, on-demand spike heal.
I would ditch one of the mesmers and take something a little more damage oriented. A second high level SW never hurt with melee. Later on you can take a smite monk for SoH and a ton of support. But early in WoC enchant removal is way too common. Might be worth trying though.
Good luck. Mix and match what I said to fit your team and playstyle.
Well I largely agree with what Fuffball said:
- 2x Panic seems redundant, if you wish to keep the 3 Mesmers, change one to a Shared Burden build and maybe bring E-Surge on the other.
- Or ditch one Mesmer completely and bring a 2nd Ritualist (SoS) if you can. If you only have 1 Rit available, a SoS setup usually beats the SoGM.
- Not a big fan of the monk build, either bring a smiter with SoH or use a E/Mo Prot if you really need the additional defense over damage.
Overall I think you have too little prot/defense against AoE attacks, which are a constant in WoC HM. Keeping your char ahead of the caster solves this pretty much, for the rest either slot in the mentioned E/Mo Prot or a Shelter Rit. These are able to take a lot of pressure off your team.
just don't bother with heal+curse, it's better to ether go full curse or make a blood support/heal build.
what you have for restoration is pretty good for support but as advice it's better to take blood is power and blood ritual, also take blood renewal to lower the sacrifice problem.
BiP has no recharge, so if you were to take it, there is no need for BR.
I would say blood is an option in general, but in this case not better than curses for MoP. And curses suck, so some healing can fill out the skillbar. Blood only really shines in cases where you 1) have tons of physical heroes for orders and 2) a ball and nuke group where you specifically give the heroes bars they can't run without having BiP on them
