    i can try my own laptop, that frikin thing uses vista and is a hell to even play GW1 with while acer advertised that it's made for games.

    i have the 16" version, the 18" one was around €300 more expensive >_<

    Based on the specs, it doesn't have a dedicated graphics card. Or what is that Intel Graphics Media Accelerator x3100. Word media doesn't sound too good.

    Oh damnit, sorry ****ed that up. Didn't read into it in detail, and probably just viewed all the processors as the older generation ones. Might have something to do with the resolutions run for those weren't what I assumed would be a laptop :>

    My mistake, but then it should run fine on mine at least.

    Well, my laptop does run a fairly high resolution at 1920x1200

    But are the i7's already older generation!?!? Man, I'm so much behind....

    a new PC is old within a month, if it works just fine on max then i deem it relatively new.

    The i7s in the test are older generation, but not all i7s are. Generally if the model designation has three digits in it, it's old, while new ones have four digits (such as "2700K").
