Really?? Wow, that's amazing. Honestly, that's one of the biggest problems with every MMO. Even the ones that have NPCs "interacting" with each other, a lot of cities and areas feel so dead.

Thanks for that map, Rhonwyn. We've just figured out where Mollok's is in game and in turn worked out where our hill is on the GW2 Map.

    <_< we're normal.

Maybe the hill is still their, but you have to swim to it. Maybe I *ahem*, we can be mermaids in GW2!

Well, we can swim at normal speed, so we are mercharrs.

Or in the case of sylvari, algae.

I find the overlay odd. Did I miss something and was there an earthquake at Lion's Arch? Because how else would you explain water over the hills of Lion's Arch and dry land where there used to be water?

I wonder if the spot which boosted you to Lvl30 to enter that Mid-Lvl-Dungeon is still availabe. I would like to play around with some traits. With much more people online, I will definitely try WvW this time

A large enough wave can change the landscape, i.e. remove loose sands, uncover hidden hard rock, or deposit a lot of sand or garbage from the wave. I don't know about earthquake though. And I can't tell you how often that happens in reality either... I'm just saying that lore-wise, one could explain it like that.

I don't know, but only press people could use it. Regular beta testers could not use it.

"Beneath Lion's Arch" probably caved in as well.

There were a lot of things on the GW 2 map that confused me in terms of land-shifting. Most of it is because of the dragons, but some of the changes seem pretty odd. Can't remember all of them any more and I do not have the patience to compare the two again.

It makes me wonder if they took the original GW1 3D maps, and modified them in ways they figured would make sense with the lore, or what...

Keep in mind that some of those differences could also be due to artificial changes (i.e. stuff lurking underground).
