PvP?

Does anyone in the guild or alliance still actively do PvP in HA or GvG? I've been doing RAs for the past few days, but I'd be interested in getting together with a few people from the guild or alliance (or even GWO in general) and doing regular HA PvP. I know we had a group who did this back when I was active originally, but I don't know if any of them are still around somewhere.

I'm Rank 4, and quite competent. So, I'm hoping to get back into all this.

I wanted to finish off my tiger, but assembling a group (and having it be successful) is a bit much to ask in today's gw, I think.

Maybe, but back when I first started serious PvP, we took people who were interested and willing to learn, and we trained them to be a pretty decent team. Sure, we weren't the best of the best, but we capped the Hall a few times, and had fun too. I think if we can find a group of people who are willing to learn and above all have fun, then it may not be too much to ask.

I haven't done any serieus pvp for years now...since RA doesn't count and neither does FA / JQ :p. Used to be heavily into GvG, but nowadays I don't really care about the PvP aspect anymore, only XM for me \o/

We've tried several times over last few years and weren't successful. Nevertheless, don't let this stop from anybody else from trying.

Haha, I miss Milak and Feng Tao. We were tight back in the day. Always PvPing. It kind of makes you brothers-in-arms.

Sadly, I don't think Feng will be coming around anymore. I haven't seen him online in years. You can still catch Milak sometimes, if you're lucky. He doesn't play much but he does log on every once in a while.

Yert seems to have disappeared too, and Rinoa's never online anymore.

Aside from those, the only member I know of who would possibly be up for some PvP is Elex.
I'm really only active on the forum, though, so I don't actually know any of the people who joined in the past 1-2 years - some of those may be interested.

(Or you could try convincing Akirai and/or Ringsgold that it'd be fun, but it's gonna be a tough job getting them to jump back into the game, I think)

We have members interested in PvP, but alas we never seem to be able to reach critical mass to keep it going over any period of time. We did get a PvP guild emote, but then it kinda fizzled out again. That said, if you really want to, go for it! Never know who you might scare out of retirenment.

With GW2 having 5v5 structured and ffa WvW, I hope that it will be easier to support a proper PvP team though. And the sooner we prepare, the better imo. At least Dii will, I hope, have a healthy PvP playerbase and we will support them with WvW resources etc.
