GW1 time spent average?

So... how much time have you guys spent in game, daily, on average since the day you bought the game?

I'm celebrating 7 years day to day, at almost 3000 hours clocked. I know it's not the most out there, not by a long shot, but I also did not ever leave Guild Wars running while AFK. So every single second of that 3000 hours is actually time spent in game, playing, trading, pvp'ing.

That averages out to 1.13 hours of active gameplay every single day for 7 years straight. It's a pretty hefty time investment when you think about it. Apart from work and going out, I don't think there's anything which can compare to that amount of time.

I got the game in late 2005 and clocked 10k+ hours so far. Haven't checked /age in a really long time now. It has definitely been something which consumed a lot of time for me, but who needs sleep anyway. I got value for my money at least!

True. Money was very well spent on this game and is probably less than 10 cents per hour, which I consider good.

I added up all my monetary expenses, which actually adds up to less than 300 euro's over 4 campaigns, a couple of outfits, 1 storage tab in discount, second account and some other junk. Considering time spent, that's not bad. Not bad at all.

And when I get this many hours of entertainment, I figure the price they charge for the CE is really cheap.
