I didn't hear his arguments for not liking Braid, but I wouldn't call it a crime to dislike Braid. Personally I loved Braid, and thought it was briljantly executed. But I can see how some people might find it... is pretentious the right word?

Braid was totally pretentious. But liking it isn't the issue so much as as a reviewer, he should list the good and the bad and try to be objective of his preferences. Is the game any good? What does it offer?

Braid was original in gameplay and story, so while it's not a game I'd recommend to everyone, saying it's bad across the board is missing the point.

There are not many people that would agree with me that Undying was a good game. It often seems no more than a footnote in the history of gaming. But I thought it was awesome. It had some really unique features.

And I totally agree on the Megaman and Castlevania series. Love those games. Megaman 2 and Castlevania 3 are my favourites.

Undying was awesome, but came out singleplayer when everyone shifted to multiplayer, so it missed the market.

Best game nobody played. Except us two apparently.
