This is why I'll stick to support and ranged pets most of the time.

I had the same problem when it came to reviving pets. But in my case it was always because the owner walked away.
I found that sometimes I had to either choose between ressing a downed character, or helping them kill an enemy so they rally. Usually one enemy would be me ressing them, but more than one was me trying to help them rally. Fun times.

I'd like to add another request.
A lot of races look dumb with the engineer backpacks. I'd like an option to toggle it off and/or reduce its size. I'd like that option to apply to all backpacks the engineer uses, including the flamethrower.

Does it change based on what you're using? I didn't notice even though I did manage to unlock the flamethrower (and it's as much fun as it sounds lol).
If it does change, it's a visual indication of the engineer's current possible skill bar, I don't know that they would want that to be something you could hide.
Otherwise, I'm all in favor of this. I didn't really care for how the backpack looked when I did notice it.

Even if it shows to other players, if it hides it for me I'm happy.

Ok, time to start a new flame-fest.
Not sure if this is still a balance issue or not, but it's worth talking about.
If you look here you can see how many tokens you need to buy each kind of armor/weapon/rune.
Now, if you look at the bottom of the page, you'll notice that each explorable run will yield 5 tokens.
A superior rune is 400 tokens. That's 80 explorable runs to get 1 rune and you have 6 armor pieces + weapons to outfit.
That's some serious grinding which I hope get's tweaked. True, after each run you get a random equipment, but still that's a lot of tokens needed.

The way I read it, you can get the rune by itself for use in any armor piece, or an armor piece with rune included (which I assume cannot be removed).
20x to repeat a dungeon for one one-handed weapon or armor piece, or 40x for one two-handed weapon, that seems like a lot. And 80 times for a single major rune!! But some people will be farming these things for re-selling, so I assume that you can farm a few and buy the rest.
It sounds a bit on the grindy side though. Thankfully I am not the type to care for elite armors (not the expensive ones anyway) but yeah... this could be flame material.

From what I understand, Runes are single-use only. The more pieces of armor with the same rune, the stronger the overall effect (basically a replacement of sets). Also, while it's true the armor pieces are outfitted with rune, they are major runes and not superior runes, so if you want 100% effectiveness, you'll want to eventually exchange the runes.

But do you need to update every rune to sup, or is sup something you can only have one of?
Sup vigor was really expensive in GW1, but it didn't stack so you only needed one... or you could do with major vigor which was a a lot less expensive and your effectiveness was quite similar. If it's like that in GW2, then I don't mind.
